Recently, I wrote a post about The Magic Triangle and allowing magic back into our lives. In that post, I mentioned a few items in my Magic Medicine Bag, like magic wands.

A wand is an implement or tool used to perform a desired intention or action.

Wands are everywhere in our modern world. There are wands for healing, activating and amplifying as well as wands to signify importance or power. The truth is – many modern professions have a version of a wand they employ for various functions.

Potions are everywhere, from libations to healing oils to herb infused teas and healing essences! We’ve all read children’s stories of love potions, sleeping potions, and sinister poison potions, and we still have them today. Take a look around your home, favorite health food store or the internet for the many ways potions express themselves such as:

Part of our Mystic Magic School this summer was an exploration into pendulums. Pendulums are ancient tools used for divination. A pendulum can be anything with weight that can dangle from a fixed point, and is free to move in all directions.  I’ve seen pendulums made of crystal, wood and metal. I’ve even used my necklace in a pinch.

What does magic mean to you?

Watch children at play and you’ll probably see one pick up a stick and twirl it around, proclaiming, “This is my magic wand!” Magic is so accessible to children, the flick of a finger can cast a love spell, and a glass of juice becomes a potion.  As we mature, magic becomes something we watch in movies, not something we experience in our daily lives.

I recently had a conversation with a friend of mine who was putting together a teleseminar.

“I had five women signed up for my seminar,” she said. “But, I wanted more. I remembered what you told me about the prism process and thought I’d give it a try.”
